Who we are

About

DoctorSHARE is a non-profit humanitarian organization that focuses on health services and medical humanitarian aid.

Individuals who joined in DoctorSHARE work together, share talents and skills regardless of their limitation ethnic, religious, racial and inter-class to realize the vision and mission DoctorSHARE in accordance with the principles of humanitarian ethics and medical services. Many of those who have experienced crisis in Aceh Indonesia since 1998 due to political instability, economic and social, and natural disaster that surge Indonesia.

DoctorSHARE currently supported by the surgeon, doctors, nurses, and professionals such as journalists, administrators, photographer, designer, information technology expert, professional social workers, and a number of individual donors. We open ourselves to those who want to share their professional supporting the vision and mission DoctorSHARE in the recovery community in the field of health.


History

From designated individuals who are volunteers share their expertise in the field of health services and humanitarian action in 1998 when Indonesia in crisis.

Individuals who at that time are still liquid and moved later without an organized humanitarian activities with the support and work programs from Regional Perhimpunan Tionghoa Indonesia (INTI) of DKI Jakarta and Central Perhimpunan INTI since 2000, with the name of the Health Perhimpunan INTI.

In 2008, this organization expanded working areas with the goal of a more comprehensive, professional and independent.


Mission


Provision of medical care and access to health services for people who are stuck in a crisis, such as those who do not have access to health services, those who face discrimination or negligence of the local health system, marginalized groups in society, they are trapped in natural disasters, epidemic and malnutrition.

Vision


Save lives and suffering of people trapped in acute crisis, so they can restore the ability to rebuild the life of form.
